What is the relationship between one's intelligence and one's writing ability? by Tony Garcia
Answer by Tony Garcia:
It is not as profound as one might think. I’ll give you two examples:
- Ray Bradbury, whose science fiction works are a staple of high school reading assignments, barely managed to finish high school.
- William Faulkner, author and Nobel Prize laureate, was bored with school, dropping out without ever earning his high school diploma.
To quote Albert Einstein, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.”
